Giftpack Appoints New Operation Manager — Iris Park

Business gifting service company Giftpack announced Iris (Il-Jung) Park to be the new Operation Manager in South Korea. Iris was born in South Korea and grew up in the U.S. She later moved to Poland and went back to South Korea to obtain two bachelor’s business administration degrees at University of Warsaw and Kyungpook National University, respectively.

Her daily duties at Giftpack include task management for both B2C of Giftpack.io and B2B of Giftpack AI, internal workflow optimization, and handling legal documents from the South Korea Government. Iris sees work as an opportunity for herself to learn from doing. She finds she can learn, grow, and challenge herself a lot here working at Giftpack. And the best part about this job, according to her, is that it is “flexible in many ways.” This is mainly because of the all-remote working culture at Giftpack since it was founded years ago.

Iris has the same vision as Giftpack does for a better world: bridging the gap between business relationships with personalized gifts. We are excited to have her on our team as she brings her diverse cultural perspectives to this company, especially because the company trains its AI algorithm to understand customs from different cultural backgrounds.

Flying to the U.S again in 2022 to support the biggest business expo, CES on-site, Iris is now back in South Korea and fueled to continue assisting the operation of Giftpack AI with all her heart.
